Oral
Presentation with a computer and a video projector is recommended. All
participants are requested to deliver their data files to a member of
the LOC Staff for saving the files into the official computer as soon
as they arrive but not later than the day before their presentation.
The Microsoft PowerPoint, PDF and HTML formats are the only formats allowed for
presentations. After loading the digital file into the official computer,
participants are advised to check for any irregularities in the fonts
and appearance of the presentation and make changes if necessary. It is
an author's responsibility to ensure that the presentation will be displayed
correctly, thus ensuring smooth presentation. If a participant happens
to arrive too late to ensure that his presentation is displayed correctly,
he or she should contact the area chair to make special arrangements for
uploading the presentation into the appropriate conference computer.
Overhead projectors may also be used.
Posters
The maximum area available for poster presentations is 1.0 m wide x 1.4 m
high. Poster panels will be marked with numbers correlated with the
Abstract Booknumbers. The title, authors' names and affiliation(s) should
appear at the top of the poster. All posters should be in English.
Posters will be attached to display panels by double-sided tape provided
by the Organizers.
